The pandemic has affected the mental health of many frontline workers and activists. As a new project ‘Healing Justice Project’, Camila Cabello funds $250,000 (£180,000) to the Movement Voter Fund.

As reported, Camila Cabello funds the money in partnership with the movement Voter Fund. 10 organizations will be provided with resources. The resources will help the mental health of workers who does a hard job during the pandemic.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the girlfriend of Shawn Mendes said:



“I’ve spent a lot of time over the last couple of years, and especially this past year home during the pandemic, in constant reflection, learning and exploring the ways I have contributed to systems and beliefs that actively oppress others.

“I’ve realised there’s so much more I can and must do to support others who are doing the work to heal our communities….

“Grassroots organizers are faced with the exhaustion, emotional burden, and trauma that comes with fighting against inequitable systems. Our hope is to offer access to the necessary support they may need as they continue their critical work advocating for social justice.”

The singer spent her Christmas holidays at Shawn Mendes’s hometown. The duo joined Shawn’s parents and celebrated it in a new way.
