Plini says that the whole thing is “hilarious” after Doja Cat apologized for using a part of his song.
Doja Cat performed her top single ‘Say So’ on November 9 at the MTV Europe Music Awards. She transformed her song into a rock anthem while using a part of the track ‘Handmade Cities’ by the Australian guitarist.
Plini’s fans who noticed the music called out the 25 old rapper on Twitter for using his music.
However, in an interview with MusicRadar, the 28 old musicians talked about this hilarious situation. He said: “I made a comment on Twitter, not really accusing anyone of anything but just because I thought it was funny … and then it turned into this whole thing.
“I suppose the fans really did all the work, they had all the outrage on my behalf. I was just sitting back wondering what the f*** was happening and finding it hilarious.”
Plini admitted that the rapper has apologized to him by sending a string of voice messages, also he shared that there is no beef between them.
He added: “The best part of all this is that I woke up one day with a string of voice messages from her in my DMs, saying sorry and that she wished she’d known about all of this and wished they could have credited me properly, and also praising my song and thanking me for being nice about it.”
