Due to the recent death of George Floyd, the music industry members joins the ‘Grassroots’ to make ‘Blackout Tuesday.’ The ‘Grassroots’ campaign will be on June 2. George is a 45-year-old man who died by the actions of a white police officer. The incident took place on May 25.



The message is to “disconnect from work and reconnect with our community.” Warner, Universal, Dirty Hit record’s Jamie Oborne, former Hot 97 music director Karlie Hustle and Beats one host Ebro Darden supports the campaign.

However famous stars, Billie Eilish, Killer Mike, and Taylor Swift also reacted outrage to the death of George Floyd.
