Will Donald Trump shows clemency to the rapper Lil Wayne?

The ‘Sucker For pain’ hitmaker pleaded guilty for an incident in December 2019, where the rapper had a .45 caliber, gold-plated handgun in his possession while traveling on a plane.

However 38 year old rapper showed his support for Donald Trump in the US election 2020. Lil Wayne also shared a photo of himself and Trump on Twitter. He wrote:

“Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump@potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.”



Now according to several reports, Donald Trump shows clemency to Lil Wayne and expects to do it before he leave the presidency. Trump to give pardons between 50 and 100, Lil Wayne is on the list too. Fox News reports: “Fox News has also learned that rapper Lil Wayne is expected to be on the list, while former Trump associate Steve Bannon is described as being “TBD.””

According to the law Lil Wayne may be imprison for 10 years, but after a presidential pardon he may have a chance to reduce the sentence.
