The singer brings the audience to tears, including her father, at the 2020 Grammys with a powerful performance of her hit “First Man” from her latest album “Romance.” The story is about her father and his support as the “first man who really loved her.” At the end of the heartfelt performance, Camila sang directly to her dad, and he couldn’t hold back the tears.

Alejandro Cabello, who was sitting front and center in the audience while his daughter performs. As real homemade footages played in the background and Camila stepped off the stage to take her father’s hand, Alejandro struggled to fight back the tears.

Camila was nominated for one award at the 2020 Grammys: Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her and Mendes’ song “Señorita.” from the deluxe edition of her boyfriend’s 2018 album, Shawn Mendes. Cabello was also nominated for two categories in 2019: Best Pop Solo Performance for her song “Havana” and Best Pop Vocal Album LP, Camila.
