Big Sean features Eminem in his 5th studio album, ‘Detroit 2.’

Sean Michael Leonard Anderson, Big Sean has released his new album on Friday, Sep. 4.

The album, ‘Detroit 2’ includes 21 tracks featuring Detroit’s rappers and artists. This is Big Sean’s initial Solo album since he released the last album “I Decided” in 2017.

However, Big Sean features several artists in his “Friday Night Cypher,” including Eminem, Royce da 5′9″, Tee Grizzley, Kash Doll, Dwele, and even Stevie Wonder.



Checkout the Eminem’s verse in the Cypher track. “Bitch, you have never said a clever line ever/ You murdering in the booth is the furthest thing from the truth/ Rest assured, I’ma treat this roof like I’m peelin’ off/ The plastic on a pill bottle, I’m tearin’ the ceilin’ off, ” Eminem raps.

Big Sean also revealed the story behind the Cypher track. “I made it a point to make the whole city feel included. There’s a song on there that just takes me back. I used to do this radio show called “Friday Night Cypher.” The whole city would come together and we would cypher it up — that’s real Detroit-style right there… It’s definitely a moment on the album where the city comes together, even people who are rumored to have misunderstandings and beef, ” the rapper said on an interview with Vulture.
