Cardi B accused of copying a man’s distinctive tattoo on the cover of her first album.

As the artist of the tattoo, Kevin Brophy Jr has taken action against the ‘WAP’ hitmaker for misusing his artwork. However, Cardi has rejected those accusations.

Actually, this is not the first time a singer accused of copying someone else work. Machine Gun Kelly also faced a similar situation when he released his album cover for ‘Tickets To My Downfall’.

Cormac Carney is the judge who is in charge of this trial. “To constitute a transformative fair use, the revised image must have significant transformative or creative elements to make it something more than mere likeness or imitation,” the judge stated. “A reasonable jury in this case could conclude that there are insufficient transformative or creative elements on the GBMV1 cover to constitute a transformative use of Plaintiff’s tattoo.”

Later the judge asked Timm Gooden for his testimony, the creator of the album. Timm Gooden has charged $50 for his work, he has done it from the images he got.

The jury claims that the changes are insufficient when comparing with the tattoo of Kevin Brophy Jr. “Most significantly, defining elements including the tiger and snake remain virtually unchanged,” the jury stated. “Under these circumstances, a jury will have to decide the merits of Defendants’ defense.”

The 79-year-old songwriter has done a great job for the music industry with more than 600 songs. ‘Like a Rolling Stone,’ ‘Tangled Up in Blue,’ and ‘Blowin’ in the Wind’ are a few of his greatest masterpieces. He has put an uncountable value on his work, so it’s very difficult to calculate the value of Dylan’s songwriting.

However, the Universal Music Group has announced to do a blockbuster deal with this great songwriter, buy the highly valuable songwriting catalog of Bob Dylan.

Universal Music wrote a welcoming message to Bob Dylan on their Twitter account.

After this deal, ‘Not Dark Yet’ hitmaker will not get any future royalties from television, radio, or any other streaming platforms, all the payments will go to Universal Music.

A music journalist, Jeff Slate said: “If you hear a song in a television commercial or you stream it on Spotify or you hear it in a movie, the publisher of that work is getting paid, no matter who is performing it.”

According to the authorities, the incident took place at the Buckhead hotel on December 1 where a man was shot down on the floor. An officer has arrived at the place as soon as the shooting reported.

In a recent interview with Rock This With Allison Hagendorf, MGK shared his thoughts on rock music and later he praises Kurt Cobain. The rapper said: “The state of rock ‘n’ roll depends on rock stars. We need to have a face, multiple faces, and attitude again.
