Lauv is earlier known as Ari Staprans Leff, who was interested in studying music. He went to New York University as a junior to study music technology. In early times he has worked in a restaurant while doing internships at recording studios. With his interest in the music field, Lauv has able to release his first single, “The Other.”
Lauv’s fans were expecting a full album from him since his 2018 single. Today he has given his fans what they want by releasing the album “how I’m feeling”. The release date was March 6 2020. The album is included with 21 songs. Some of the songs are collaborations with famous artists like ‘Anne Marie‘, ‘BTS‘, ‘Alessia Cara’ and ‘Sofia Reyes.’

The songs of the album express different emotions. Some of the songs are not gone too deep; they are just for fun. Lauv said this by his own words “There are songs that are just fun, that aren’t so deep,” “It’s been really freeing, I’m getting to the point where I’m learning I need to keep some things for myself.”
