In her recent interview on ‘Good Morning America,’ the singer shared how she feels about her voice, how it has changed for the past few years. She said: “I’m having a really good time … it’s a really amazing, fun adventure.

“So far, of the ones I’ve recorded, I think it’s been the most fun doing ‘Love Story’ because the older music, my voice was so teenaged and I sometimes, when I hear my older music and my young teenage voice, it makes me feel like I’m a different singer now.

“So it’s been the most fun to re-record ones that I feel like I could actually possibly improve upon the song.”

The Weeknd is unhappy with the Grammys decision of not giving him even a single nomination for his new album ‘After Hours’, he questions the transparency of the Grammys.

Drake also took social media to defend his compatriot The Weeknd after the criticism towards the Grammys nomination. “I think we should stop allowing ourselves to be shocked every year by the disconnect between impactful music and these awards and just accept that what once was the highest form of recognition may no longer matter to the artists that exist now and the ones that come after,” the rapper wrote on Instagram.

“It’s like a relative you keep expecting to fix up but they just can’t change their ways,” he added.

“The other day I said The Weeknd was a lock for either album or song of the year along with countless other reasonable assumptions and it just never goes that way,” he conitinued.

He said: “I am flattered to be acknowledged and appreciated for my artistry.

“I am very meticulous and intentional about my music. With that being said I set out to make an R&B album.

“Changes was and is an R&B album. It is not being acknowledged as an R&B album which is very strange to me.

“I grew up admiring R&B music and wished to make a project that would embody that sound.

“For this to not be in that category feels weird considering from the chords to the melodies to the vocal style all the way down to the hip hop drums that were chosen it it undeniably, unmistakably an R&B Album!

“To be clear I absolutely love Pop music it just wasn’t what I set out to make this time around.

“My gratitude for feeling respected for my work remains and I am honored to be nominated either way.”
