Adele is not ready with her new album. It’s almost 5 years since she released the album, ’25’ in 2015. The new album will be her 4th studio album, but it isn’t finished yet.

The ‘Hello’ hitmaker was the host for ‘Saturday Night Live’ this weekend. On the show, she answered most of the fan questions. She said: “I know there’s been a lot of chatter about why I’m just the host, like, ‘Why isn’t she the musical guest’ and stuff like that. And there’s a couple of reasons – my album’s not finished, and I’m also too scared to do both. I’d rather just put on some wigs – this is all mine, by the way – have a glass of wine, or six, and just see what happens.”

Fans are so desperate about the release of Adele’s new album, but Adele is not ready. One fan asked on social media, “Adele where’s the album?”

The 32 year old replied: “I honestly have no idea.”

“This album might be the reason why bands of our generation, instead of the Foo Fighters, Green Day or one of those established artists, get to headline Coachella and s*** like that – because this album is gonna make the demand for guitar music go up! It’s tapped into the new generation of kids, the 13-to-18-year-olds, that those bands I just named can’t reach at this point.”
