Shawn Mendes Struggles to achieve his future plans.

The Canadian pop star Shawn Peter Raul Mendes also known as Shawn Mendes in his stage name has revealed that he is sometimes under too much pressure.

Talking to Kevin Abstract from Wonderland magazine, Shawn said: “I still struggle with trying to fit into the shoes of who I believe ‘Shawn Mendes’ should be…at some point along the line, my expectations and my standard of who I should be, the music I should make, and the way I should look, became so high that no matter what I did and no matter how hard I was trying with my music, I couldn’t fit those shoes. If I even struggle to [live up to] what I think I should be, I definitely don’t want to make it harder for the 14-year-old kid in Canada to be who they are.”

The ‘Wonder’ hitmaker has struggled with anxiety though out his career and that made him to do some meditation. “I had definitely sat down a couple of times and done a meditation on YouTube, but it really wasn’t until about two and a half years ago, when I was going through a really tough time and had a lot of anxiety, that I started using it regularly,” Mendes told to to the Vogue magazine.

Meanwhile, Shawn Mendes and Camila have started a new project with the Calm app, “Breathe Into It”. This new series contains 24 sessions which helps to overcome anxiety and teaches to love yourself with some gratitude.
